In addition to his 3000 hits, he has over 400 home runs. He has an incredible lifetime average over .320. He is a 7 time All-Star, 6 time Silver Slugger, AL MVP, AL Rookie of the Year. He also has a .350 batting average for his postseason career in 58 games - that's not a fluke. Newfield was born to hit, and he has done it as well, and as often, as anyone in this world.
And he might have the best hair in the world.
